Gonzalo Gazitúa Zavala
Gonzalo was born in Santiago in 1980 and graduated as a lawyer in 2007. He was a member of our firm between 2007 and 2008, rejoining in 2022, as a consulting lawyer, after 11 years of experience in the public sector, in the Ministry of Housing and Urbanism (2011-2016 and 2018-2022) and in the Ministry of Transport and Telecommunications (2016-2018).
In the exercise of these functions, he was in charge of drafting and/or processing various laws and regulations, highlighting the New Real Estate Co-ownership Law; the Law on Social Integration in Urban Planning, Land Management and Housing Emergency Plan and the Regulations for the Mobility Impact Assessment System.
He obtained his degree in Law and Legal Sciences and an academic certificate in Sociology at the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, where he also completed the diplomas “Economic Administrative Law” (2006) and “Integrated Urban Planning and Management” (2012). He also obtained a Master’s in Real Estate, Urban and Building Law (2008-2009) and a Master’s in Public Law (2009-2010), both at Pompeu Fabra University, Barcelona, Spain.
